Personally I think it should'nt matter about race or anything. Im white and I don't use but thats because Its not really used in my area. Blacks were called the n word and it was a derogative slur. They turned something negative into something positive such as a friend, or a companion. I think it is nothing but another slang word. Not a bad word or something to look down upon. Just my opinion.

Im black and i don't really mind if a white person says nigga as long as they ain't usin it as a racial remark then imma be pissed but if they sayin it as a greetin i don't mind.

and when black ppl were linched by white ppl, and tha last thing tha black ppl heard was "NIGGA" shouted by tha white ppl
that's y i dont think white ppl should use it
i mean if u black u can say it b/c u ancestors have suffered and u take all tha power out of tha word

especially if u like from well respected, rich, white parents

Let me start by saying I am not White nor am I black, I'm a marocan(North/West Africa), so you can say my roots are with black poeple, even though my skin is white.

words are for everybody, you cant not say something because your white!!! and please think before posting!!! white poeple invented the word!! they have every right ro use it, even more than black poeple.
and ancestors have nothin to do with this, they've suffered, they HAVE suffered, black poeple are free now they are not slaves. Its true that when nigger instead of nigga is said it is more meant as an insult, that's all the more reason why 'nigga' should be said by everyone.
People say they hate rascists but not allowing a white person to say nigga is a pretty rascist action.

i dun think it's bad.. im white i use it all the time talkin to my black friends and my white friends... it's become no-longer a profane thing to say.. it's more like callin sumone esse or man or homie... but i have never used it to look down on someone.

so if you wanna use the word
the offensiveness of the word
is not what it was back then
so its totally up to you.....
