Nah, the joker himself KNOWS he's in a movie in this movie. That's what's so funny to him, and why he tries to push his limits towards the end of the movie. He's not broke, he just can't believe they made a movie about him with such a typical plotline lol its so steriotypical, and definitely gives more edge to it all being in his head more validity

      • Also he knows he's in a movie the scene when he's in the subway and the goons are picking on the woman. He starts laughing because of how preposterous it was, and then covers his mouth because he's afraid they will percieve it another way (which they did) Unfortunately, he learned at this moment that his life is at stake, whether this is a film or not. When he was running he is actually trying to run out of the movie. It took him a minute and maybe a few in-between the interval scenes to realize that nothing will happen to him due to concurrent run time and the fact he is indeed the mysterious joker, who turns out not to be mysterious as all, he just grew up in the ghetto. It's all funny if you really think about it.

he started laughing because he has a disease that makes him laugh in awkward situations or situations he does not know how to handle. he can't help it

True, but at the end he learns how to control it, and is actually laughing/smiling because he wants to. (knows how to trigger it/handle it now.)

                      • Warm bodies thoughts: hmm. This is an interesting movie. It’s already made me cry once. Idk if I’m getting soft or what. I have to finish it but I’m pleasantly surprised.

mad max fury road final thoughts: it’s a 9.5
