Now, I was partying pretty hard in those days, but this was one night where everything kind of caught up to me. I was feeling pretty sickly, so I decided to call it a night unseasonably early. I lock up the house, set the alarm, and get into bed at about 11 PM. I'm all snuggled, and right on that verge of falling asleep when I heard my front door open. In my head, I'm trying to rationalize who it could be: were my grandparents staying the night? Were my sisters coming home? Did my parents say that they were going to be there? I did all of this so I didn't have to get up in some fear that my house was being robbed by some hobo or miscreant. As I'm nestling back into my slumber, all of the sudden it hits me that I set the alarm before I went to bed, and yet I clearly heard the front door open and close. Now, I'm fucking terrified. The first thing that I think of is that this is some panic room shit, and the robbers cut my alarm power and are going to murder me in my sleep. I hop out of bed, and as quickly and quietly as I can, grab a baseball bat. The whole house is pitch black except for the moonlight streaming in through the windows. Creeping down my hallway, bat in hand, ready to strike, I make my way down to the front door. As I'm about halfway down the stairs, I realize there's this noise in the kitchen, this subtle banging and clanking of pots and pans. I calm down a little bit, realizing that no robber is going to stop and make himself a goddamn meal in the middle of the robbery, but I'm still pretty scared about everything. As I'm getting closer and closer to the kitchen, I realize that all of this is happening without any lights on, but there's the faintest glow coming from under the door. As far as I can tell, it's someone with their cellphone, trying to find something. I'm still scared shitless, but decided that I'm armed and ready, and if I'm lucky, it's just one of my sisters drunkenly trying to make a meal. I slowly open the door and peek inside, and there's this massive figure crouched in the corner, glowing ever so faintly. This thing is huge, and most definitely not my sister. It's wearing this big yellow vest thing and a striped shirt, and has it's back to me. At this point I'm too fucking scared to move and dropped my bat. The thing stopped and slowly stood up and turned around, looking at me with this disgusting, pale face and what looks like blood all around it's mouth, and this giant tuft of red hair sticking up from it's head. It looks at me with these gleaming eyes for a full minute before opening it's mouth slowly and asks me 'do you believe in magic, and I hope you do. You'll always have a friend wearing big red shoes. Anything can happen right before your eyes, whatever you're expecting expect a surprise. When you believe in magic, only Ronald can do.' The only thing I could think of was to say 'I enjoy the soup and outdoor dining sets,' to which he replied, 'RAISONS' and handed me a double quarter pounder with cheese, extra pickles, no mustard. My favorite.

You can argue illuminati being real or not, but after you read that you can't argue against the existence of ghosts, it was the most fucked up thing that i ever experienced
