They are..considering your DL bandwidth isn't restricted by your ISP because if you download too much in a week or month then they'll start charging but most people have unlimited download bandwidth

He probably had limited Internet download, and when he succeeded that limit the Internet company started to take more money. And if "11 hours" of download was right (that could be a lot of GBs downloaded) then I can't blame the company for that much bill. Lol

Even with an ISP which has limits, in the UK they are not allowed to let your bill go over by that much, and I would assume its the same in South Africa, there must be some regulation. Is the bill defonatally from going over the download cap? Because a DVD quality 1hr download would come in at arround 1-1.5Gb, however a torrent would be an avi, or mp4 (or similar) so compressed, and would be arround 200mb, so 2.2gb for 11 shows. Do you know what your download limit is, in the UK they limits start at 8gb (for really cheep packages), most are between 40 and 100gb though, so it would be unlucky if that download pushed you over the limit (assuming that you were not also uploading).
