It's inspiring because he survived. One shot = a tore off arm + a sprayed bullet to the head + a hole in your torso. He found his way up without just dying.

I've never been shot, but from what I've seen it's no joke. A lot of people die from one hit to the head. A lot die from one hit in the chest.

Well don't think I'm a cold hearted person or someshit lol but I really don't find it touching.. like I'm glad he survived and maybe there wasn't a good chance of that happening, but people get shot multiple times and survive often, and its not like he became a successful athlete,rapper,or something..its not like he achieved anything great after it so i don't see it as inspiring.. to each his own though

That's just how I see it lol. Most of the "inspiring" movies don't inspire me, so I know what you mean.

He has achieved a lot. He's on the Berrics for skateboarding.. He had to relearn how to walk and somehow manages to get on a good skateboarding team, that's pretty insane. I should of explained that though.

But the story alone without that part is enough, really.
