Uneducated because I didn't know EVERY fact of the case... whatever you say THP. We obviously don't know everything that took place, and all some of us are saying is that racially fueled crimes still happen all the time and people try to ignore it and act like it's for another reason.

That may or may not have been the case this time, who knows.

So what your saying is, you don't know all of the facts and don't know if it was a racially fueled crime.... so you just take Trayvon's side? What are your reasoning's? I'm being serious, no trolling. I gave facts to as why I support Zimmerman in the case (But like I also said, I could really care less if they give him life or if he doesn't do a day in jail). I was just stating my opinion on the case because thats what the thread is for, and I get called ignorant?

From what I've read and seen on the case I was learning toward it being a strong possibility that it was racially motivated. The phonecall, the fact that Zimmerman was told by the police not to pursue/engage, and he did anyway. The phonecall of a clearly teenaged voice screaming. Trayvon clearly was about to go rob a bank or mug someone..with a pack of skittles and tea.

It's ignorance because you said he should be not guilty without any reasoning....no one knows 100% of the case....so let justice do it's job, why try to defend any side....Choosing Trayvon side had nothing to do with going to jail, it was about getting an arrest..that's it...and a lawyer, a judge, a police cheif and all the agents involved can't be uneducated, so if they though it warranted arrest..that is what America wanted....regardless if it was self defense or not he should've been arrested...was he guilty? he will have his day in court..but to just post I hope he gets off it was self defense using the mere information everyone is without knowing the exact details of the situation is ignorance. Trayvon being a thug or whatever you said he was has nothing to do with this case. In the end we will all know the truth, Zimmerman chose his own faith by following Trayvon and now he has to live with his decisions....

Because this is a discussion forum and we are here to discuss things. You think people would post in this thread for 4+ without commenting on which side they support?

And you made good points about him should have being arrested, because I never said he shouldn't have. Like you said, the justice system is there to decide if it was self defense or not; but my original post that you called "ignorance" had nothing to do with that. It had to do with the facts from the case in which led me to believe that Zimmerman was acting in self defense and should be not guilty.

                    Bro you are contradicting yourself...

You obviously haven't read the reports from both sides of the story so go on watching the news of them portraying Trayvon as some good kid. Kid was a thug. He didn't deserve to die AT ALL, and even though Zimmerman was in the wrong for continuing to follow Trayvon; he still assaulted Zimmerman in the end. And I guess Zimmerman feared for his life enough to shoot him. And knowing the laws in Florida because I live there, Zimmerman did nothing wrong. The laws state something along the lines of "The law justifies use of deadly force when you are trying to protect yourself or another person from death or serious bodily harm" along with a few other reasons. So if Trayvon was assaulting Zimmerman, why would he be charged for something the law says he can do? The laws are there to protect citizens. If the media and you uneducated people hadn't portrayed Zimmerman and the whole case as some racial BS and acting like Trayvon wasn't some typical teenager goon, then maybe so many people like myself wouldn't be on Zimmerman's side. Because really I could careless if the dude gets the death penalty or walks without serving 1 day in jail. I just think its wrong to bring on all the hate to Zimmerman because the kid he shot to protect himself from was black.

All of that you wrote was based on what the media told you.....therefore not knowing the entire story and choosing a side is ignorance...and that is what you said other people were doing but your are doing the same thing...being arrested and going to jail is two different things.........Justice being served was him being arrested....I could careless if he goes to jail once it is justly done..

And what facts are you talking about? How do you know Trayvon was a thug? How do you know it was self defense? how do you know that he was being assaulted? All of what your basing your siding on is assumption...the only fact in this case is what was heard on the 911 tapes....and the fact that Trayvon is dead..and Zimmerman was the killer....

All of that was based on reports by witnesses/Zimmerman/the police report. And did you not see Trayvon's Twitter before it was taken down? A 180 degree difference from what the media is portraying him as some good kid. His friends and family confirmed the Twitter was his before they took it down too so don't say it was fake. And I know he was being assaulted because of witnesses. Do you think they made up some fight in the middle of their street and called it in to the cops? Lol. And whether or not this case was just some random dude going out and shooting some other random dude, I can still say I think the jury should find him not guilty. It's my opinion on the situation either way. Plus just 'cause the kid was black and the shooter wasn't, I'm not about to have no sympathy thinking its some racial crime smh lol. Its 2012, not 1812.

And about me contradicting myself. I never did that. There's a difference when I'm giving MY views on the topic, rather then discussing what the jury will think/do. Him being arrested has nothing to do with being charged, those are two opposite things.
