I've looked all over the internet and I haven't been able to get the answers I was looking for. I've seen recipes for home made beef jerky where they use a dehydrator and where they use the oven. I do not have a dehydrator but I do have an oven. I've asked people I know who make beef jerky after hunting and they said not to even fuck around with an oven, but it's the only thing I got. Can you physically taste the difference? and what name-brand beef jerky could you compare the taste to. Thanks in advanced. Also post recipes.
