Can't Sync My iPhone..

Idk if this is the right section, move if needed.

So up until last week my iphone would sync to my computer fine, but then I updated with the new software and now it doesn't recognize it (I'll plug it in & nothing will happen, won't show phone in iTunes).. It's not the cord cause I can plug it into the wall and it will charge. I've looked all over the Internet and tried tons of shit but nothing is working . I can't even put new music on my iPhone.

So... Any suggestions? thanks though anyways.

And I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes yet will this work?

Try a hard reset bro. Restoring your firmware usually works.
