The dude was wearing bulletproof everything, more people having and shooting guns would've only made things worse in this situation. Also, his apartment is apparently "extensively" booby-trapped with explosives and police can't figure out how to get in without blowing it up. The guy is nuts.

Sumone just told me the killer wasn't a fan of Lil Wayne lol.

Apparently, a couple had met him in a bar a week before the shooting or sum shit. And they wanted to play some muzik at the bar. They put on a Lil Wayne song and James didn't like it. I guess he only listened to rock & country. Weird news tho

As you can see, those robbers were dressed and likely had gear under their outfits. But the one man who was armed managed to them off and save lives. Not saying the Batman killer would've ran off, but I still think there would've been less victims.

You can't compare the two situations. What happened in the theatre was complete different circumstances than what happened in that shop. In the theatre it was dark, nobody knew what was going on and it would of been too dangerous. In the shop they had light, they knew what was up, the old man had a clear shoot at the guy and he took it without putting anyone else in harm.

Plus, those guys didn't go into that shop with the the intention to kill everybody. they went in there thinking armed robbery. The theatre guy went in there trying to kill as many people as he could.

I've decided to hold back any unnecessary comments and laughter until I find out the exact motive behind his Modern Warfare campaign. I've read somewhere that he told the cops that his name was "The Joker" while under interrogation. Why was he so serious? My guess is that he wanted to become a legend. Since the Batman movie was supposed to be a seminal event it presented the best opportune moment for him to ventilate his frustration on the unsuspecting. I agree with you in general, but in this specific situation having more armed people would've only made it worse. The gunman was basically wearing full body armor and with panicked people running everywhere the chances of actually hitting and doing any damage to him without hitting at least 1 other person would've been slim to none.

Yeah, you're right in a way. Unless we had someone in there with precise aim....I still hate how the media is pushing for tighter gun control. It will make things WORSE.

Still, its a life or death situation. Those robbers could've shot at anyone they wanted after getting what they were after. The fact that the old man was armed proves that guns aren't a bad thing and that it can save lives.

Oh, I agree with you on that. I'm just saying you can't say if x had a gun in the theatre, he would of saved y lives. There's no telling what would of happened if someone else in that theatre had a gun.
