I was super awkward my first time i went to king of games in brooklyn with my duel disc expecting it to be like battle city, but it was a bunch of 17-40 year olds there and i they played on tables and i got raped. But i was the best out of my friends.

Weren't they around at the same time? I remember playing YGO in second grade.

wikipedia says there were 5 years in between but in here pokemon was broadcasted before YuGiOh if I remember correctly (but years after they were released)
