Hip Hop is constantly changing, just as rap artist rap for different reasons.

Not everybody is going to be a 2pac or Nas, not everyone is going to be a Wayne or Chief Keef.

I don't see why people narrow themselves to a certain type of hip hop.

But I mean if you 100% hate todays hip hop, and constantly point fingures at all the Mainstream rappers, you're definatly missing out.

Ab-soul, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Eminem, Slaughterhouse, ect. Their are plenty of artist that are more focused on lyrical ability than producing hits.

They just need to accept the fact that the 90's was primarily gangster rap, and now it's mainly southern club bangers that are on the radio.

Nobody knows what will be the next thing...

Southern Music is clearly in its prime and has been for a while.

Either find other "talented" artist which their are plenty of, or make yourself suffer along the ride through the genre of hip hop. Your choice.
