Dragon's Den / Shark Tank

Dragon's Den (Shark Tank is the US version, same concept) is a reality TV show that originated in Japan where entrepreneurs walk in and pitch their product/business in front of five wealthy venture capitalists seeking an investment from them, in exchange often giving away a part of their company's equity. The show exists in many countries but around here the most populars are Dragon's Den (Canada) and Shark Tank.

I, being Canadian started watching Dragon's Den several months ago and immediately got hooked. It's just so entertaining to watch some people walk in there with the most retarded ideas ever and watch them get scorched by the dragons or ripped apart by the sharks (lame puns intended) and you do learn a lot about the business world at the same time! Two of the Canadian investors in Dragon's Den (Kevin O'Leary and Robert Herjavec) also appear on Shark Tank (Robert left Dragon's Den recently though).

So, feel free to discuss the shows. Do you watch it? If not, you really should give it a shot. If you're in Canada you can watch all the episodes of Dragon's Den on http://www.cbc.ca and if you're in the US I believe you can watch Shark Tank on ABC's website. Both shows are easily found on YouTube also!
