Winona State University has an opening for a Information Technology Specialist-1. The work schedule for this position is Sunday 3:00-7:00pm and Monday-Thursday 11:00am-8:00pm. Some evening and weekend hours will be scheduled as needed. The individual in this position will provide walk-in technical support to WSU faculty, staff, and students. Additional duties include: 1) coordinating with the Hardware Repair Lead to prepare laptop inventory and components for distribution and end of lease return; 2) completing special projects and collaborating with team members to resolve escalated technical support issues; and 3) participating with team members in providing quality customer service for WSU clients. Minimum requirements for this position include at least one year of technical support experience in a help desk or direct client support environment.
