I think you missed the whole point bro... That was his promo, his marketing. And it worked because Yeezus was all everyone was talking about on the lead up to it.

It's how he markets himself now days, by doing things differently to everyone else, so different that everyone talks about it. His whole life is one big marketing campaign. the more he acts crazy and different, the more he carrys on winning because it keeps getting him more famous lol.
