The world is bad.

It will always be that way.

There is a reason kids from the hood don't listen to Immortal Technique or KRS-One.

They listen to Meek Mill and the likes of those rappers.

Understand that there probably isn't a grand scheme going around to corrupt the people, this world is just a terrible place. It's just that as Americans, we have it very good compared to the rest of the world. I'm not discrediting any other rich country, however capitalism and freedom of speech are two things a lot of other countries do not have the option to experience, not to mention the opportunity to escape violent communities.

If you look at the likes of Lil Wayne or Jay-Z, deep down they might not truly want to rap about what they rap about, but it has made them millions on top of millions of dollars, so why would they even think about stopping?

And it's not like Lil Wayne only promotes negativity, your view of these rappers is just twisted. I look at it as they motivate you to hustle, to get money in any way you choose.

It's just how it is.

To conclude, there is a much bigger reason as to why everyone in general loves what Meek Mill and Lil Wayne rap about, and it's bigger than all of us, so just focus on something that'll get you further in life rather than worrying about what billion dollar corporation are conspiring with these entertainers.
