I'm Mexican myself, and I'm a pretty honest dude, so here is what im going to say. Black People don't even care to do their own research, they just follow the media and what their friends tell them. First of all, a lot of blind (not literarily) black people think Zimmerman is white, when he checked himself as Hispanic on his voting pallet. Secondly, black people are just using this case and Zimmerman as a scapegoat for another civil rights movement, which is why this case got media attention when it shouldn't have. Thirdly, nobody knows what the hell happened except Zimmerman himself. Yeah, you could say he lies or contradicts himself, but he is the only primary source we have. I also think that the prosecution was handled very poorly. The only reason people say the justice system isn't fair is because the system doesn't take emotion as a factor. They only use official evidence, facts, etc.

I honestly believe if the case wasn't in the state of Florida's justice system, you would have seen Zimmerman found guilty.

Florida's justice and political system is so fucked up and a mystery that it scares me to go down there vacationing.

I agree, he shouldn't have followed him. But this case was about whether or not Trayvon was killed under Self Defense. I don't think this Zimmerman vs Trayvon ordeal is over though. Future charges are coming

We don't have enough evidence to say Zimmerman did anything wrong.. we know Zimmerman followed Trayvon while on the phone with police, which is NOT illegal by the way..then Cops told him to stop following Trayvon, he said Ok...this is where the assumptions begin

People assume Zimmerman got out of the car and followed Trayvon when there is absolutely no evidence that says he did..Zimmerman says he got out of the car to find a street sign so he could tell the cops where he was and Trayvon attacked him, that would allow Zimmerman to shoot him and claim self defense..

Could he be lying? Sure..do we have evidence that 100% says he lying? Not even close..

You cant send someone to jail because you assume or think he did something..the state has to prove it beyond any reasonable doubt..it's not their fault but the evidence just isn't there

Im not saying he's innocent..I'm saying we can't prove he's guilty (innocent until proven guilty)
The entire incident was initiated based on a choice made by Zimmerman. If he saw trayvon and did nothing none of this happens. He insisted a problem by labeling it suspicious. It's like the Same dog theory. Why play the hero and then claim self defense especially based on appearance and not fact.

There is also no evidence of him telling truth.. Just assumptions..
That conversation he had with a 911 before the shooting is clear evidence that he was too paranoid and too suspicious, he basically made up his mind that he is going to face the kid and have a fight with him.
For intelligent people that conversation is enough to see that he is guilty... But that's not a proof, that's also an assumption..

Seeing someone you think is suspicious and calling the cops then following them to tell the cops where they are is not against the law..as wrong as you think it is, it not illegal..you cant send him to jail based on that alone

If you think the Law should be changed that's another discussion..but as the law stands today Zimmerman should be free..

Being Paranoid and Suspicous is not against the Law..and you're right..there's no evidence that's he's telling the truth and there's no evidence that he lied...so how can you send him to jail with no evidence?

We have to understand the difference between Common Sense and the Actual Law..common sense will tell you its Zimmermans fault that Trayvon is dead so he should go to jail..But with the Law you need actual Proof, not just something you think or what common sense tells you

I know all about law Blake..

And of course that being paranoid and suspicious isn't against the law, that's not what I said..

When there is no evidence, then the better story wins.

My common sense is telling me that it is both guys fault.
I already explained that in offtopic thread..But whatever..

Zimmerman was suspicious and paranoid and so was Trayvon.

No one knows who made the first move.
No one knows if it's self defense or attack.
                        There are no evidence.
A whole case is based on assumptions and therefore Zimmerman had to be verdicted as "not guilty".

To be honest, self-defense system is the system that can be abused so much, but that's the way it is.

Trayvon family lawyers did not have proofs so they went with moral and common sense, hoping that people will understand and that media attention will help them. In my opinion it did just the opposite.

And to be honest, USA legal system is completely fucked up.
