Yeah true, i lived in Maryland last year i usually went to DC every other weekend and it was MS-13 everywhere i went.
got paranoid after a while, didn't go to Virginia much but when i went i didn't see much gang repping, related stuff.
This is off topic but I felt like I should post it.
I saw a picture in my history book at school and it showed basically a shed and a homeless person
and his kids just looking homeless. But in the backround, you can see the white house.
Explain to me how that is right?
Well DC is a dominating black community especially the main parts like southest etc...
and the cost to live in DC is basically the same to states such as new york and California with less luxury features
When people think of DC they think of the white house big buildings, and historical timezone that happened there
but the government treat the residents over there the same if not less then then the 50 states in the U.S
the only reason the white house is in DC is because it's a capital and by making a capital one side will not think as if one side is favoring one over another (refereeing to the republicans and Democratic)

LOL truuuuuuuuuuuuuue but let me give you the REAL, REAL answer. DC's AKA is 'chocolate city'...so its mostly black/poor people. White people come in to the white house/national mall area to work in the government area. They were never bothered with living there(not saying there's NONE). They live in VA and out in the suburbs of MD. Now that they're sick of commuting hours daily, they're trying to come back to dc. And you know how that goes. Run in, buy up shit, make it high priced, and slowly get all the minorities out. That's what's happening now.
Northeast/southeast-Hood
Northwest/Southwest-Gov shit.
