Brother you cannot blame actions such as drug intake and violence on video games and music it is no denying that video games and music DO impact the mind in a way but you cannot entriely blame the essence of these horrific crimes purely on these factors take this guy for example Gary Ridgway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia he was the member of a church and actually became emotional and touched by the word of god and cryed after sermons but his actions were completely the opposite of his potrayal he was a complete lunatic who held odd fetishes and murdered helpless woman

Now i ask if outside factors really influenced negative behaviour in the way you proclaim why didnt the word of god influence him positivily? Because he was a psyco-path and their was no way he could understand anything and this is why murders and robberys occur because one is ethier completely mental or falls for group preassure for example the famous case of Kitty Genovese (google if you are unsure of what this is) 32 people witnessed and did nothing to save a woman who had been sexual assaulted and was murdered on a city street now do we fall back and blame movies because people are used to seeing people die and doing nothing or do we step back and understand the psychological reasons for this atrocity

And as for Gary Ridgway,
I know a guy who was a psycho path and would talk about killing,he was a member of the church and they helped him in everyway they could. they were strong and made sure to keep his relationship with God as close as possible, if he didnt have a ride to church, someone was there with a car, if he needed someone to talk to, someone was there.
He never killed anybody or anything.
So its not like God doesnt exist, if you want help, you will recieve it.
Yes Gary cried out to God and what not, but thats only the begininng, you have to let God keep working with you, your not going to change in 24 hrs, it takes time, and patience for you to become a strong man of God, maybe Gary just wasnt patient enough, he was a pyshco-path, Im sure God would show pity on him and not punish him if he truly couldnt help himself

And yes, as we gaze upon visual images, it gets into our subconsious mind. If you watched nothing but violent cartoons as a Kid, then went on to watch hours and hours of some teenage show with violence and blood, by the time you watch a movie like SAW, you won't really be affected by it, as for a person who grew up watching lil ponies and what not, and his mind isnt used to bloody images, he/she would be a lot more squemish,

THe same thing with these Satanic and Demonic images, no one see the harm in them, but they want us to become used to seeing them so we gradually accept them in our every day lives

Kidcomet, i never doubted gods existence i believe in him also but i am not a christian i follow the islamic faith what i was trying to point out with that example is that crimes occur because of psychological reasons

Anyway i agree that violent music and games dont do much positive to us as humans, but since ancient times violence has been a form of entertainment for humans as odd as that is it shows how savage we can actually be also cartoon violence usually isnt all that graphic and if a child is watching graphic violence it should be the parents job to maintain what is viewed.

Although parents cant always be blamed when your young they are the ones responsible to guide you like i remember this guy in grade 2 used to watch violent horror films and their mother used to bump Slim Shady LP in their car full blast he wasent right mentally at all and was abit of a psycho and this is because he viewed such odd stuff at a young age with a neglecting parent

Now take me as a example i played violent games as a child but my dad used to take me to the bush to understand the value of life so those games never did bad things to me because i understood what it was a way to be entertained.

Now if i just played that game all the time and never saw the light of day thats another story i would be effected but it wouldnt be the game it would be my lifestyle.
