You believe in God, do you know what God expects from you? Do you know how to serve God?

There is really nothing Christian (Christ-like) about the Catholic church in fact, sorry to say. The fact that the pope allowed himself to be worshiped by so many, come on
You probably shouldn't make stuff up about something you don't know anything about. All you're doing is repeating old false phrases. Catholics pray to saints for them to intercede with God. All they are a role models, nothing more nothing less. Nobody in the Catholic church 'worships' them. They are just people that have lived a good life and an example of how to bring yourself close to God. God doesn't condemned praying to saints either, the saints are in Heaven with him. That's ridiculous.

To say that there is nothing Christ like about the catholic church is pretty funny too considering Jesus started the Catholic church. He founded it (through Peter, ofc). How much have you actually studied and got to know about the Catholic church though? Because it sounds like you're just going off a bunch of old sayings. I've never studied the Mormon church or the Muslim faith in depth so I wouldn't make general comments like "oh they worship some crazy guy from Kansas" or "the Quran was just made up Muhammad" or something like that. Because I haven't took the time to thoroughly understand their faith. & it's obvious you haven't done that for Catholicism.

Praying to saints, is like if I hire a worker to build my house and after the work is done, I go and thank the tools. Lmao

"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church." ( Mark 16:18 )

Jesus to Peter, the first pope. This is the start of the Catholic church.

Everything else is whatever. It doesn't matter what I say because you don't want to understand it.

Bruh, thats not even what Mark 16:18 says fool

              anyways
Why are you taking this verse outta context and adding your ideas in it? Where in this verse did it say
" Here Peter, you are the first pope of the Catholic church"

Infact, just to prove how wrong you are, why would Jesus make Peter a "Pope" in this verse, when in

              Matthew 4:10,

              it says

"You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve."

                Matthew 16:18. Sorry.

I feel like I'm wasting time but here it goes...

Yes, that is what Jesus was saying. He didn't say "pope" but Jesus appointed him the leader of His Church. Which you know today as the pope.

                Peter was named Simon.
Jesus gave him the name Peter.
                Peter = Stone/Rock.
Jesus made Peter the rock of His church.
                Peter would led the church.
Leader of the church = Pope.

It's not taking the verse out of context. It's putting it into context. Has nothing to do with my ideas. Jesus said what he said. He named Peter leader of the Church.

Yep. 325 AD, First Council of Nicaea.

Of course the apsotles and disciples didn't just sit on there hands between 33 AD - 325 AD. They were out preaching, spreading the faith, all that good stuff. That was the church. All they did in 325 was iron out details and make it a LLC.

We're going in circles though. Guess it's just about how you interpert it. I don't think we're going to be able to change each other minds so we can end it here lol.

If peter was a pope, why didnt he write about it in his books, why didnt he write about his leadership of the church in 1 peter or 2 peter

he didnt even claim supremacy over the other apostles
no where in the bible did it say that peters apostolic authority was passed on to his successor.

Peter was a leader of the disciples , he was called the "rock" and all, but it does not in anyway support the idea that Paul was a pope, or his leadership was passed on to the bishop of rome or anythign lool come on bruh
