many theological scholars believe that The Book of Revelation was written decades after the rest of the New Testament by somebody completely different. The tone and imagery is much more abstract and bizarre than the rest of the bible, and the author directly refers to himself which isnt done anywhere else in the bible. He refers to himself as "John" but he is not John The Apostle, he was literally some guy who wrote a final chapter to The New Testament in a way to give it a final bang and make it more popular
