Nelson Mandela became really sick at that time, and the media was going crazy, especially in South Africa.

And if you listen to what Obama says, he said "Even when he passes away"
They knew he was gonna pass away soon.
He didn't say anything about his death.

And notice that the African woman never said Nelson Mandela died, she said he was really sick.
"But I'm sure he would be very disappointed if he hears that because he's very sick; life has stopped in South Africa"


And the video of Clan Qunu preparing Nelsons funeral doesn't mean he died back then already.
Like I said people knew he was gonna pass away soon so they was just preparing his funeral.
