I hate threads like this, but what can I actually do about my mom?

I think she is beginning to develop Alzheimer's disease.

I don't want to say why but I think she is, and she's pretty young too. I can't talk to her to about it though, because if I try she will just yell at me and say I'm wrong. But she has been doing some odd things and I don't know what to do.

Talk to your family and see if your mom comes from a line of people that have had Alzheimer's before, if she is, then definitely take her to someone to get diagnosed.

She is just a grade a screw up I don't like talking bad about her but I have come to learn something recently, blood makes you related but caring makes you family. She doesn't care about herself or me. She's a self destructive drug addict and I honestly think she did this to herself. Hard drugs and alcohol for a few years and with her being almost 50, I guess her body can't handle it anymore.

I will try and find a doctor to get his opinion but I just lack empathy for her at this point...
