How hard is it for a fucking 17 year old with no work experience to get a job :/
I've applied to like 10 places and only mcdonalds calls back
    fucking mcdonalds

Should I just lie on my application about my work experience and references?
The borders should be illegal instead of the people, who were here before the bible and all of its sequels

Pretty fucking hard. I remember that phase, I was in the same spot. Applied at like 12 places and got two interviews but they never called back. Finally got an opportunity with a fast food restaurant (not like McDonalds though, local joint) and that worked out pretty well.

It's a struggle though brah, everybody wants you to have experience before they hire you but nobody wants to give you an opportunity to get the experience lol.

How bad you want a job though? I mean even if it is McDonalds it would be good experience because at least you would have that on your resume for future restaurant/service industry jobs to show you've worked in the field before.

Be careful about the lies tho, the restaurant I worked at called all my references and they called all prior employers for the new people.

Why don't you just get experience at McDonald's? I'm 18 and started working 5 weeks ago at Dunkin Donuts

Mornings are a bitch. Good thing they switched me to afternoons shift. Its more chill and smooth but really boring because it can be really slow but better for me. All you do is make sandwiches, coffee and give out donuts. I work around South Beach in Miami so people can be dicks sometimes because they think they are really rich and have ultimate power.

Get experience from jobs your family works at

Like can your parents, uncles, aunties etc not let you get some experience were they work?

Its funny because I feel your pain 100%. I've applied to like 10 jobs as well and I got called for a interview at some store there but there were like 6 other people with experience and the embarrassed my ass with their stories and knowledge. This is my first ever job at Dunkin Donuts and I got it because my aunt works there. So it basically is about who you know I guess.

I lived up in rural Canada when I was 16 and I worked in the fields doing corn detassling until I got a job at Staples as a tech sales associate when I was 17.

My advice to you if you can't get jobs is:

                        1. Volunteer/ get involved at your school.
                        2. There's always work in the fields
                        3. Better your grades. Once you get older, grades don't mean shit in the real world, but for now, they do.

And dropping a resume off in person to a manager/ someone higher up is your best bet.
