btw. he is taking game down, because he is just a guy that likes to make games, he doesn't want popularity, and lots of reviewers harassed him and the game for it's super mario looks, bad graphics and other stuff..

If he made it himself and only used Mario for inspiration, then there shouldn't be any legal issues.

If he just copied the sprites from Mario game to his game, then there are.
But all of that is hard to prove, so it's not about legal issues imo...

Still, I think it's a dumb move, he can earn thousands and thousands more if he keeps updating it and making it better, he may not get this chance in future, he got lucky and he ain't using the maximum out of it..

Android had less ads, actually only one ad that only shows when you die.. Which is pretty good
