EDM is the shit! Except, you can't sell EDM songs individually like rap beats. That's why I'm thinking I'm gonna make a trap style beat first. Maybe I could sell it to some rappers here for extra bread haha.

1. Yes you can. On iTunes, Amazon, Beatport, Google Play, etc. you can choose indivual songs from albums.

2. There are rappers/singers out there that want beats like that. Sell that shit to someone like Selena Gomez or Britney spears.

a little harder to compete with the big producers (Dr. Luke, Max Martin, etc) but payout's probably better than rap.
