I feel bad for the families, it must be so horrible. Unfortunately it would seem it's probably just crashed into the ocean somewhere remote and sank with all comms off prior to this (maybe pilot did something wrong? mechanical failures etc etc..) which is why they can't find it.

The same type of thing happened a few years ago with a french airliner, it crashed into the sea and no one knew what happened. They found the black box after months of searching the ocea near where they thought it crashed.

It really is so terrible. I do have a nice imagination but it really could have just crashed. It sucks how in 2014 we can't fly planes across oceans. Still, I don't understand why China is using satellites and basically all of this effort is being put forth to solve this. Tragedies happen every day and you don't see entire nations exhausting all their energies to solve things. I guess we'll just wait and see. Tbh I don't think they'll find it.

I think as a government you have a right to do this for your people, and since it's not a war or an act of terroism etc. people just want to know what happened and hence the unity by all the nations to search for the plane.

The family deserve nothing less. It will be intersting to see what actually happened. I kinda find it sad how many people I've seen on FB/Twitter make jokes about the plane, it's odd how it's missing and went off the radar but 223 people would have died and that's disrespectful IMO.

Yeah the black box and pulling the wreckage up was like 18 months after but they recovered 2 bodies fairly recent to the crash in the sea
