New Jersey School Sued Over 'Under God' in Pledge - ABC News

Some guy parents sued to school because the pledge allegiance had the word "God" in it.

We understand you dont believe, and we respect that, but does it bother you to that point?

Ya, but forcing kids to say it is unneeded. The pledge was made by a religious promoting minister if i remember correctly. I mean this is a stupid topic, the school should not have been sued but they are forcing children to say religious context before they can clearly make their own decisions.

                    No.
                    The Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.
In its original form it read:
"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1923, the words, "the Flag of the United States of America" were added. At this time it read:
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy's daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
                    The Pledge of Allegiance

I dunno what church is this lol...but atheists are just as annoying as religion people.

in the beginning it was cool that people dont wanna be into what the majority are on...but now they think they are the smartest people alive coz science is this and science is that...and if anybody mentions "god" or "jesus" in a convo then they think that they are forcing religion on them and shit lol

its true....not all of them...but some...just like some religious people..

now its all the same shit just different toilet lol

Westbrook baptist church is the enemy. That's a strong weapon Satan uses to discourage people's faith in God. Think about it, using People who claim to be Christian to spread hate and animosity. It's a good trick.
