What is wrong with society nowadays. It seems as if we have become emotionally numb to the problems of our world rather than responding with sadness and disgust and as a result, fixing these problems. Why do people in power only seek to gain more power for themselves, with all this power surely they should want to help out everyone else who is struggling? This stuff is so sad, and we are all numb to it. We think oh, that's just the way it is. Well that's wrong. We should create a society that makes everyone healthy and rich, instead of sick and poor like most or Americans and there lifestyles. With billions of dollars, you would think the corporations of the world would try and fix our problems. But no, they only care about inflating egos and money and power. It is like as we grow older, we become strangers to love and best friends with hate and numbness to the world. Why can't we all just get along and be happy together. Why does everything have to be one big competition. Even if you win the race you're still a rat. The rat race I am referring to as in the rat race of life. We are living in a world that is totally wrong and we just become evil as we grow older. We become cold beings. We become inhumane. Humans are naturally loving and caring creatures. But not anymore. We are dying as a race and no one is doing anything about it. I weep for the future of humanity. We will destroy ourselves within 1,000 years or become further enslaved in to our own greed and wickedness.

Most wars have been over land or difference of opinion. They just want everything and will slaughter anyone that gets in the way (ex: Native Americans). And if someone has a difference in opinion (religion, politics, etc.) they fight over it for years and years.
