I just got an iphone and i was putting some albums into the phone. some albums would have muiltiple album covers but have the same title under albums. This is making me really mad and body kno whats the problem?

But I wanna know also, I think itunes blows major ass since they updated it in like 08. You cant even go into your ipods anymore and delete shit w/o resynching the whole thing. I have the same problem as you do, do you mean like, it'll show the album 3 times, w/the album split up between them? It just does that in itunes, not on the ipod so its not AS annoying as it could be. Grrrr

you gotta change the album artist too...

example...like for no ceilings....

u put

Album-No Ceilings

THEN
Album Artist-Lil Wayne

u put that in all da tracks.den it will be in one photo...my itunes is stupid organized.

Edit-You cant have different names on "album artist" on a album...that will create more pics on da cover flow.

There's nothing in my 'album artist'

Example:

Name-No One Else Matters

Artist- Gudda Gudda feat Bow Wow & Ya Boy

Album Artist-

Album- DJ Ill Will & DJ Rockstar Present Gudda Gudda (Guddaville)


Its like, say the album is Guddaville

It'll have:

Guddaville
songs 1-4

Guddaville
Songs 5-8

Guddaville
Songs 9-13

What about the single songs i dl they tend to have its own cover do i just put no album and it wont show?

This is how I have my iTunes, iPhone & iPod setup & I don't have those problems:
For example: No Ceilings

Track Name: Break Up - Short Dawg & Gudda Gudda
Artist: Lil Wayne
Album Artist: Lil Wayne
Album: No Ceilings
Genre: Rap/Hip-Hop
Year: 2009
Track Number: 7 of 21

That's how i avoid having more than one of the same album/album covers. It's most likely the Artist or Album Artist that's making it do that. That's why I put the features after the track names so I won't have more than one Lil Wayne ft so & so for each feature he has since that would give me 100+ Lil Wayne ft. under artist & 100+ album covers etc.

What I do in this situation is I create an Album Name for it and just add the rest of the info like I did above.
For Example: Lil Twist's Best Kid Who Eva Did It
Name: Best Kid Who Eva Did It - Lil Za & Dan Dan
Artist: Lil Twist
Album Artist: Young Money
Album: Young Money
Year: 2009
I create my own album & name it Young Money for the individual tracks I download from YoungMoneyHQ. If they are later released then I delete them from my iPod & add the album in which it comes from all together. As for a cover, I don't use any unless I create my own cover also. Hope that helps.
