Saw it again a few months ago, it definitley stands the test of time.

It works both as an Hip-Hop movie and as a character-driven drama, some parts still gave me goosebumps...especially the final rap battle. At the very ending, when he throws the mic at an astonished Papa Doc...that's like the definition of climax
