I need judges for a site I'm creating.

Maybe mods too. Mostly judges though. I want to make a site where producers could battle beats for money. It would be a monthly thing. $1,000 cash outs for the winners each month. What I want to do is create a WorldStar clone. All that dude Q does is go on LiveLeak, steal something funny relating to something stupid and add a ghetto name to it and upload it. He also knows the young hearts of unsigned artists are withering with false dreams, so he charges upwards of $2,000 (I think) for an upload. Add in some relative advertisements like PLNDR or Karmaloop and you have WorldStar. The only thing that makes it so great is the trolls, thanks to Disqus. The upvote idea was genius to whoever made it, now everyone wants to be a comedian for some ego strokes.

I'm a fool when I drink coffee. Anyway I have a few people in mind, like to be honest if you're an active member here you can have a spot as a judge for beat battles on this future site. What I want to do is combine top notch web design, A1 marketing (mostly through paid YouTube advertisements), beat battles and funny videos and aim at teenagers like Q does. But not just the black community but everyone in Hip-Hop. Although most people on WS are probably white, lol.

I still have some things to think about with this plan but it's in fruition I guess.

I've been seeing so many successful Internet pursuits lately, why can't I jump in? Granted I'm lazy as fuck, but I can change that.

Sure they are the go 2 for news but I at least want to make a foundation. I didn't say let's create a hugely visited website overnight, if it even brings in money I'll be proud and want to do more for it. And if it ends up being a better quality site then all I would need is a marketing plan. These are all such loaded words in the end but I know I can create something valuable.

I come off as cocky a lot and I hate that but I'm really not trying to be I'm just putting my ideas out.

Competing against Worldstarhiphop - Good luck. Not to mention, there is a bunch of other sites like Worldstarhiphop. If you really want your website to succeed then you'll need to have unique content.

Sounds interesting, I don't know much about world star, but as the others said, it needs a point of difference. It's a cool idea, can you outline the money side of it? You say the winner gets $1000, where does that come from?
