I watched a video about the deep web (the webpages we can't reach...but are like 90% of the internet), and people trade with this currency to do illegal and weird shit for a reward...you know, buy illegal guns, murder someone....recently shown, buy exclusive celebrity nude pics.

There is even a way to dig and find bitcoins by using a software or some shit like that...i read about it, but can't remember...i think the man that developed it, only created 12 million bitcoins only..not sure, you should read about it if you are interested.

I did some research on bitcoin. Apparently it was worth almost $1000US per coin, but has since halved in value. The reason is because the headquarters of bitcoin, Mount Gox, the place ehwere the trades take place, was raided and shut down.

Bitcoin can be attained by 'mining' it using a special algorithm on a special computer. However, the algorithm is designed so that it becomes increasingly difficult over time to mine these coins. Meaning that when they first launched, it would take a computer maybe 2 days to mine 10 coins. Now, it might take an entire bank of computers months to mine a single coin. Its the way of regulating how much bitcoin is in circulation.
