Yo, I know there already is a thread about GoT, but I onlywanna talk about the Trailer to season 5.

I just watched it and I wanted to know what you guys think of it, and what you assume will happen next.

Peronally I assume Tyrion and Varys will support Daenerys to conquer the 7 kingdoms, cuz in the Trailer Varys says to Tyrion:
"The 7 kingdoms needs a ruler loved by millions with a powerful army and the right Family Name"
Tyrion replies: " Good luck finding him"
and Varys then says: "Who said anything about 'him'?"

Right after Daenerys is shown.

fuck them lives man , this is gonna be an entirely different story from now on. The reasons are the following:
1)They already started changing shit from books since...well ever (but mainly since season 2) , a small change in early episodes , can be bigger after a while.
2)Also , George R.R. Martin , the author , is taking yeeeeeears to release the next book (book number 6) , and he plans to release another one (book 7) to finish the story. As the show comes closer to the last released book , the material to cover becomes less and less. So...we're gonna have a different story , and i'm fuckin depressed about that. But neverthelles if you look at the two projects separated , they are two magnificent pieces.

well he plays a major part and he's the one that leads the directors/producers so he makes the BIG decisions , but some changes occur here and there , awesome characters are left out etc.

George doesn't make any decisions, apart from being the author of the source material he doesn't have a say in the shows decisions about the story, he is basically a consultant to David & Dan (the producers). George sold them rights for his A Song of Ice & Fire material and they adapted it as much as they could without the last two books finished. They had a talk with George about the end game for the main characters and the ending of the story. They know the the ending, but they're going to get there a lot different than George.
