The military and police went into new orleans and took guns away from people illegally? They went door to door breakin in houses and taking ppl guns away

Both the 2nd and 3rd amendment were broken during this time.

That was smart, because they didn't want people to start killing each other with their legal guns for food or water..
Gun license should be way harder to obtain than it is, in USA..

And guns should be way more expensive..

It was smart to go against the oathe they promised to uphold and impede on their 2nd and 3rd amendment rights?


This was illegal.

They had their guns to protect their homes and their family,
also, the military were sniping looters, look it up ,Chris Kyle (american sniper) even admits this

Okay, I can't say smart, but maybe necessary..Illegal, but it's far better to do that, then to wait on people to kill each other..

And people use their guns for everything but protection.. They would most likely use them to force someone into giving them food or whatever..

from looters who would go to the rich neighboorhoods and steal food, which is exactly what happend after they took guns from them,

You have a 2nd amendment right, that states by law, you are allowed to own a gun,
