I come from a large southern Christian family and know of none other than kids that believe that's his real bday. I've actually heard a preacher do a sermon on it. A lot of preachers mention it in Christmas sermons. So I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one.

I always assumed they made it December 25 because it's close to Hanukkah.

It's close to many festivals that were/are celebrated around this time in classical times, like Saturnalia (which ended on the 23rd not the 25th and didn't mean there were no laws ffs). It just naturally became the day Christmas was celebrated on as people converted and Christianity was forming because everybody was already celebrating something anyway. Then the church made it official when it had become centralised.

perfumes can be both for men and female..idk if yall call it different in the states, but in europe theres eau de parfum for men and female..
and cologne is just a form of perfume..
