Of course western organization that run statistics will tell you that there are less corrupt politicians in USA, but I wouldn't take that for granted. I guarantee that there are as many corrupt politicians in USA as there are in Russia.

And no you don't need to be a politician to be a good president. Last president of Uruguay was a farmer, and he was known as one of the best president overall, ever. Of course you can't compare Uruguay to USA, but it shows that you don't need to be "certified" politician to be president.

Trump has as much as knowledge of politics as Clinton does. She has more experience, but that's not necessarily a good thing for her, as with her experience she did horrible job.

The best option would of been for Kasich to have accepted Trump's VP offer to pretty much run the country and let Trump just be a figure head. Kasich's pretty level headed and moderate on a lot of issues that Republicans are tone death on (Climate change, gay marriage, immigration, etc...)
