theres nothing to suggest that. europe just won a belt for the first time in three years. a title vacated by two different americans.

in the last four years, three europeans have held a belt, blachowicz, mcgregor & bisping. blachowicz has yet to defend it, conor has never defended a belt & bisping only had one defense before he got blasted into retirement. in those same four years, the united states has had twenty six different champs, in every division.

of the 105 different men currently ranked in the top 15, 56 are from the united states & 15 are from europe. of the 35 different men currently ranked in the top 5, 19 are american & only five from europe.

if anything, africa, asia, south america, north america & australia are producing better fighters than europe. id rank europe sixth, just ahead of antarctica.
