the movie might have failed compared to the last 2, but it wasnt afraid of failure, same with the hero bruce wayne's journey. who had to learn not to be afraid of failure as well. its impossible not to look at the movie without its former shadows cast by predocessors, and while its missing the 'fear' component that made begins fun, and the 'chaotic' nature that made dark knight a delight, its carrying the weight of two highly influential movies all the while crafting a villian that doesnt go the route of those before, and a story that is honestly only held down by its time. (movie shouldve been longer, romance fleshed out)

tbh i think begins is the best one out of all them after deeper retrospec, but rises is admittedly ambitious

I think the third movie was better than the first.

the best part of the batman trilogy is the heist at the very beginning of the 2nd one

the greatest trilogy of any movie series of all time
a lot of people call 'the dark knight' their favorite movie of all time too
which is crazy for a 'superhero' movie
