I know yall already know how TikTok's parent company ByteDance is collecting info on every TikTok user and sharing it with the Chinese Government, that's old news.

But I looked more into it and in 2018 they spent over a billion dollars to advertise the app in USA. The app was created by a private chinese company that works on developing A.I. & information gathering technologies, and they have been exposed to work with the Chinese government.

US Military personell have been instructed to not use the app because it is a security threat. (According to the Pentagon)

India has banned the app, the chinese has their own version on a completely seperate platform called Douyin, where they can control what is allowed for Chinese users to see. (To protect & control their own people?)

So is their only goal to destroy our attention spans, steal information & make mula?? or does it go deeper than that?

Note that this is not comparable to Facebook, Instagram & Snapchat manipulating us for ad revenue through dopamine driven feedback loops. This is a hostile government involved in creating a social media app and invest billions to make it big in USA, which happens to be their enemy, why??

manipulate us, change the algorithm so we get pushed certain content based on which area we are in.

They can push more extreme left wing content in the northern states, and more extreme right wing content in the southern states, that way they can further polarize a country and create civil chaos. (one example)

it's not about TikTok but at 2:30 he makes a great point. What he said could be done on purpose by China via TikTok, possibilities are endless.
