What’s so special about The Truman Show to you ?

It's the greatest film of all time to me for multiple reasons. Quite simply, I've never seen a film that was this rewatchable to me on so many levels. It's captivating. It's ambitious. It's frightening. It's bizarre.


It's a cocktail blend of extraordinary madness.


It simply boggles my mind how far ahead of it's time this film was. (It was released in the 90's) From the camera work, to it's conceptual narrative, even the acting, It's simply leagues beyond every other film released today imho.

How so? I mean I'm sure i missed a couple films (Logan, Wanted, etc.) but i thought i capsulated every great film from this millennium quite nicely (or as good as i could)
