Most piercings are just like a pinch feeling so I doubt an industrial would hurt to get done

Well for some people they actually hear their cartilage crunch when it goes through lol, or they have to force it through, but only the 2nd hole hurt since I knew what to expect, and that was only for like a second. My nose actually was worse. Didn't HURT, but it burned like shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

I dunno, the person who runs my local place, none he has ever done have made a crunch noise or anything lol. My girls nose burned loads as well lol

LOL yeah I think people get more scared of the pain even though they know how a piercing feels. Like it doesn't really matter where you get it done it's still a similar feeling. A tattoo is harder to judge, you can get one on like your arm and it not hurt but then go in and get one on your foot and it hurt like a bitch

If it's your first I'd advise not on the back. It's the most painful area, it's gonna be hitting straight onto the bone or the nerves and that does get unpleasant. Try somewhere like arm for your first
