    Re: tattoo help

He wasn't bullshitting you about the purple ink by the way. Different ink can only be used on certain skin complexions. I know you don't have very dark skin compared to others but with it being purple ink it will run or fade quickly and keep needing a touch up or getting completely re-coloured. It can be done but it's not worth it. Your skin would be ok with red or a light shade of blue though. White ink may work but again it could run or fade quickly. It may or may not do this for you but there is a good chance it will. I've spent a few hours getting inked so I've spoke to my artist a lot about this.

Yeah a medium blue should be good for you Perhaps go light - medium blue though just in case

A red always works on people with dark skin as does a dark grey and black.

I think you should go with red also, it would look real nice. A white border wouldnt hurt either

do all colors fade? Or does it depend on the color/skin color? And what's the likelihood of someone being allergic to the ink?

                          Re: tattoo help

You'll know already if you are allergic to the ink, very few people are and it's detected at a young age or birth.

All colours fade over time. Look at the pics I put up, all my tats are under a year old but my Love Live Life one is the newest and is a dark black and the others aren't. They will fade for a few reasons: When healed the top layer peels off and it becomes lighter in colour and can then fade more easily from the sunlight, While healing chemicals found in things like shower gels can cause fading and then your skin complexion may make it look faded.

Then it becomes more specific on skin complexion to colour of ink as to how much and quickly it will fade. Best way to always care for your ink is to use a nappy rash cream lol. If they sell bepanthem in the US pick some of that up
