Yes, but I believe it would be very hard to get it over here though, as there is plenty of other over the counter non-prescription medicines for coughs, sore throats etc and even if you get prescription medicine for that stuff I'm pretty sure there are plenty of others the doctor will offer before even thinking about syrup.

That's if you went that route, if you went the illegal way I'm sure there is some people that can get hold of the stuff for you, depending where you live, wouldn't be too hard to get it in London.
