I dropped out my senior year at 17 and now at 20 I've decided on taking the GED exam. Have any of y'all ever taken the exam? It seems simpler than working on getting a diploma at adult school.

i have my honors ged right beside me on a wall. its actually a accomplishment, dont let anybody in this forum fool you, the college i went to had a paper about G.E.Ds and one of the statistics on it was that 60 percent of the people in high school or that have a diploma are not able to comprehend or run right through the test. so? i guess what that means is if you can pass the ged with flying colors you are smarter than most of the niggas you went to school wit. lol. i had real reasons why i quit school, but thats story for another time, anyways ged wasnt that hard for me, i had mine in 2 and half weeks, but i was grinding.

my went easy..

took a prep test...that determined wut classes i need,,,only did language/writing for 2 months and took da GED test and passed it and got my diploma paper in da 4th month....(da papers take FOREVER to get in mail)

but to answer u....its easy as fuck,,,,just like da school state tests but a bit easier

my went easy..

took a prep test...that determined wut classes i need,,,only did language/writing for 2 months and took da GED test and passed it and got my diploma paper in da 4th month....(da papers take FOREVER to get in mail)

but to answer u....its easy as fuck,,,,just like da school state tests but a bit easier

So you don't take every single test that they have and only the ones that you need knowledge in? After the prep test do you take the GED right away or do you schedule a date?

took a prep test...that determined wut classes i need,,,only did language/writing for 2 months and took da GED test and passed it and got my diploma paper in da 4th month....(da papers take FOREVER to get in mail)

So you don't take every single test that they have and only the ones that you need knowledge in? After the prep test do you take the GED right away or do you schedule a date?

wel u take da prep test (its like da real test) on all subjects...and dat determines wut classes u need before u take da ged test.....so u dont have to take ALL da classes.depends on how u do in da prep test....and da teacher will let u kno if ur ready or wen u have completly finished everything in dat class u will take da ged test.....over here,da ged test is once a month i think.so its on a certain day...im not too sure about da testing stuff..but da test is easy as fuck...science was just like math....math was easy...da essay thingy.just bullshit on it.mines was wut technology today was da best lately...i said ipod touch and wrote everything about it and did great on it...history was stupid...i did crappy on it but still passed it..math was easy and ummm writing was easy but make sure u read each sentence carefully (corrections,commas,etc)
