Well i have never used sigtutorials.com to help me out in anyway. Heck i didnt even know what site that was at first. I heard about it soon but i never used the tutorials there. Seems like a useful site tho.

And YTOL. So from the image you resized it. I think you resized it badly 'cos it looks stretched. Next time you make somethin smaller, hold shift and drag it diagonally. Easy tip

And for your text, if your writing alot, try to keep it up to 2 lines mininum. So make all your text in caps and bring the "this" word down next to the "is" word.
