I see progress, but you can't put the focal on Lighten? or Low opacity. It's called focal for a reason. Text needs work and there is no flow. Keep it up though.

Start basic, using brushes and lighting. Then move on to Clipping masks, Smudge and whatnot. Just gotta experiment.
