Your alright man. Both pieces need alot of work and need more flow. Keep working tho. You will not be great at this in 2 months liek someone else said, it could take a year to be really good, believe me.

Anyway. What I did back in the day is just use tutorials and tuts are great because even though you may be getting a guide through done for you, you can play around with it and improve and make anything different and use different renders/stocks to make different outcomes from the tutorials. And you also learn some great skills and techniques from doing tutorials



PS. Woocky where did you find that stock of Weezy in your signature at the moment? It's sick!
