I used to never ever use them...but they're actually so simple, people don't even realise. All it takes is some fiddling around with opacities and different colours that match the colour/flow of the piece and you can really get something nice!

Personally I've only used two colours, I haven't tried anymore than that, it may be a good experiement for me to try out actually.
