You could use blur/sharpen and/or lighten/darken to increase depth.
Blending looks kinda nice imo. You could use some other brushes or brush different layers with each other. Oh, and pay attention to what area you're blending.

Your blending is getting better and smuding is pretty cool
The background is alright but it doesn't go massively with the theme but still a good effort
Text is okay but even I suck at text still, shits hard
I don't like the lines on it but that's just me
Just keep at it, use plenty of tutorials and it'll just come naturally, keep it up mate good job!
