i like the gradient map a lot, it reminds me of vintage'ish photos, you know? i've always liked that style.

damn, seein everybody do graphics lately is startin to get me back into it, i haven't touched photoshop in super long, last time i did was to make my sig like a month ago, and before that it was like 3 months lol i just haven't been motivated lately, i needa start doin more

lol that's what i'm thinkin, i'll make a comeback haha that's the reason i haven't been motivated i think was cause they stopped SOTM, but now that they started the graphic battle i'm gonna have to start practicing more so i can actually compete

Looks fine mate.
I like the effects on the left of him best. The ones on the right look a bit weird imo.
Oh, and your border looks out of place on the left side. Next time, don't just set a border on the stock image, but make a new layer > fill it with one color (alt/ctrl+backspace) > set the stroke on that layer > ... you know the rest.
